Ingredients:
🍎 200 g puff pastry 🍎 4 big apples 🍎 handful of raisins 🍎 1 heaped tablespoon of shredded coconut 🍎 3 tablespoons of chopped nuts 🍎 Stevia (optional) 🍎 a little bit of flour for rolling the pastry
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200 °C. 2. Cut the apples into quarters, remove the core and grate them (I use a grating cylinder which is much faster). 3. Place the grated apples on a sieve to get some of the juice out - you will get about one cup of delicious apple juice. 4. Roll out the pastry. 5. Place the apple in the middle of the pastry and add the raisins, coconut, nuts and sprinkle with Stevia if you like. 6. Fold one side of the pastry over the filling, the other side over it and press firmly. 7. Seal the ends. 8. Turn the strudel over so that the smooth part is facing up and place on a baking tray. 9. Bake the strudel in the middle of the oven for 20 minutes. 10. Leave to cool for at least 30 minutes.
